Tabor
Tabor was established in 1999 by 4 experienced vineyard families and settled in Tabor village up on the Galilee Mountains. This modern winery gets its white grapes from vineyards near Mount Tabor and its red grapes from Upper Galilee. The names of the wines refer to the soil on which the respective grapes grew. It started in 1999 with around 20,000 bottles and is now producing around 600,000 bottles a year. Out of concern for the environment, the winemaking family decided to introduce an ecological management methodology that preserves the fragile balance between nature and man and is directly responsible for greatly enriching the quality of our land's harvest. During the whole process they try to formulate innovative, ecological and well thoughtful production strategies in order to create a sensitive, smart and caring balance.
