We are delighted to be able to present you with the Recanati Marawi, a gem of the art of wine: Make the acquaintance of a wine that even the biblical forefathers drank!

A wine that impresses with its fresh, unconventional character.

The Marawi grape is at home in Israel and its history goes back to biblical times. The wine made from it was already widespread and popular well over 2000 years ago - in fact, references to this remarkable grape variety were also found in the Talmud.

The Marawi grapes come from a remote vineyard in the Judean Hills south of Jerusalem and are produced in Israeli-Palestinian cooperation.

The wine produced today by Recanati matures for 8 months "sur lie" in Burgundy barrels. It impresses with its freshness, citrus notes with mineral tones and fine acidity.

By processing this indigenous variety, the Recanati winery is now going back to the roots of winegrowing and presenting a fresh white wine that is unparalleled in its originality. It is characterized by its very own character and cannot be compared with any grape variety known from Europe.
