Lewinsohn
"Lewinsohn" was founded in 2007 by father and son, Amnon & Ido Lewinshon, and is an authentic "Garagiste" winery. "Garage de Papa" wines are only available in limited quantities (for selected restaurants and disribution abroad). Ido Lewinsohn graduated from the University of Milan with a B.S. in Oenology. Throughout his wine education he worked in wineries such as Margalit (Israel), Haut Lirou (Pic St. Loup, Languedoc), Mas du Notaire (Rhone Valley), Domaine A (Tasmania) and Tuscany's Tenuta San Guido, makers of Sassicaia. After nearly a decade working for Recanati, Ido is currently the chief winemaker of Barkan & Segal Wineries.
