Efrat
Originally called Efrat, the winery was established by Avraham Teperberg and his son Zeev Zaid Teperberg in 1870. The name belongs to the biblical "Efrata shehi Beit Lechem", the road on which grapes belonged to the winery. It was founded in the old city of Jerusalem. In 2006 the winery moved to Kibbutz Tzora and the officially changed its name to Teperberg 1870.
Now Efrat is one of Teperberg's most known wine series - one that introduces the consumer to the world of Israeli wines with easy-drinking, aromatic, soft wines - so that anyone can get a taste and a glimpse into this world.
